2. Find your hardware fingerprint

Hardware fingerprint is a number that is believed to be unique for your computer. It is used to generate a hardware locked key.

To find your hardware fingerprint, click the link below to download HWFP.exe. Start HWFP.exe on your computer. You will be prompted with the following message, "This program requires a security key. If you have one select OK to enter it." Click OK. Then a dialog will pop up showing your hardware fingerprint, an 8 digit hexadecimal code such as "3E8F-2A19".
